Ya so as of right now I’m thinking I’ll do the FP track suspension kit with new wheels/tires. While I have the diff out to do 4.09’s I will add the steeda stop the hop kit and maybe some diff bushings etc.
@NGOT8R I’m fortunate in the labour regard to be mechanically inclined so my brother and...
I was told I don’t need a tune with the 4.09’s. it will throw my speedo out until I fix it via tune when I do LTH, CAI.
@WildHorse. Actually sold over Ten million in iron last year and got a healthy bonus. The rest was invested but thanks for the insights lol
Should have mentioned I’m not planning to track or auto cross the car at all. Take it to the drag strip likely 5-10 times per year and other than that it’s a street car.
Final goal down the road is 1000whp but that’s likely 3-5 years out.
@StangTime were you at the meet in Woodstock last summer...
Hey all, so for this upcoming season I have roughly $3000 usd to throw at mods on my 2019 GT base manual. Car has extended warranty until this fall but I'm modding it anyway. Car currently has a K&N drop in filter, x-pipe and MBRP muffler delete axle back. I have already purchased Ford...
So if you were in my position would you buy and tune for the CJ since I’m already in the process of going to 4.09’s and just do longtubes when I boost it down the road? What kind of power gains would a CJ manifold with the ford performance twin blade throttle body and a tune net?
no access to E85 up here unfortunately so I'm stuck with 91/93 pump gas tunes. I was also curious about the return fuel system suggestion on my mostly stock engine unless he was just throwing it out there for when I boost it?
I'm kind of in the same situation here with my 2019 GT MT82. Extended warranty is up this fall but I'm going to mod it as soon as I pull it out of storage. Car currently only has K&N drop in filter, x pipe and MBRP axle back muffler deletes.
I was going to order either Kooks or Stainless power...
I ended up taking my diff out myself and hand delivered it to my Ford store of choice for the 4.09 swap. Saves 6 hours labor as that's what they were going to charge me to remove and reinstall the diff.
hey all, when I first purchased my 2019 GT back in the fall of 2018 I looked into swapping to 4.09 gears in the rear end. I stopped at a Ford dealer here in Canada and they had a part number for a complete diff loaded with either 3.55, 3.73 or 4.09's. I just stopped at another Ford dealer...
Hey all, I've done a bunch of searches but can't seem to find a thread detailing how to go about adding the mycolor option to my base GT. Can someone help point me in the right direction?
Thanks very much,
Dusty
I would recommend DaSilva Racing as well. Took my 2019 GT there all the way from London to be dynoed based off their reputation. Great bunch of guys there!
Other shop I would recommend is Rev8 out of Woodstock. Had a dyno day there with some other members this year and they seemed like great...
yes, that was my first step as some of my previous vehicles would set the alarm off when the battery was closer to dying. no change with a fresh battery from my experiences
well, sorry to hear you are having some similar issues but glad to hear it's not a one off as well. My car is currently at the dealer having some warranty work done so hopefully they have some answers when I go to pick it up. Not holding my breath though.
Hey all,
Has anyone ever experienced something similar to this? I have a 2019 GT MT-82 and whenever I get out of the car and try to lock my doors using the key fob nothing happens right away. I keep pressing the lock button but no locking or horn beeps at all. Seems to me like the car has some...
happened to my 2019 when it was close to new as well. Dealer checked codes and it came up as a misfire on two cylinders. Remedy was that they replaced spark plugs in those two cylinders and have never seen it again.
Was definitely nice to put a few faces to names although I’m in the same boat as Dave…hard to remember all the names haha
black19gt = Dusty
I plan on heading back down to Rev8 hopefully in the next month or so to strap mine down on the rollers. Have a few warranty items that need addressed at...
