Window issue

right people I need some help.

Today whilst driving the drivers window has decided to open on its own, nothing terrible but it drops as if the door is being opened and goes up and down on its own.

I seem to remember having seen a thread before but can’t remember if on here or elsewhere.

Is this a simple fix I can reser somehow ? If so how do I do it, or is it dealer time ?

That sounds like water in an electrical connection somewhere. Perhaps in a door switch.
The key fob has the ability to lower both windows simultaneously, press the unlock button for 5 seconds, its called global opening. Will not send them up though.
I'd disconnect the battery to see if it did somehow reset, but I think it probably needs booking in Ford really.

Prob a stupid thought but not sat on the fob while driving by any chance

not sat on the key. and the window just rises and lowers about 20mm on its own.

went to the dealers yesterday and a fitter tried a manual reset and disconnected the battery for 10 mins and still its a problem. luckily for me the window was down when i parked and it was lower than when it lowers to open the door and whilst i was talking to the fitter about the problem it just went up bu itself, now at least they now there is a problem.

its going in next tuesday so will see what happens next !!!!
