Wind shield wiper motor and container

I bough a used GT350 with 4,600 miles on it from a dealership. When I tried to use the windshield wipers soap nothing worked, windshield wipers worked but no liquid, not even the notice of a motor.
Apparently the previous owner cut the system out and put in some kind of rigged I don't know what in its place. I found the switch that turn it on on the right side of the dash. When on it sounds like small electrical motor. Embarrassed dealership says they will make it right.

Question is should I worry? At the very least unconcerned. Some help.

transmission cooler? saw an article somewhere about someone who took out the washer to install lines/pump for one

Yep, I saw that post awhile back and it was a tranny cooler. If you intend to track it you may want the integrity of the system checked and maybe keep it in or rework it to fit the WW reservoir back.

Check into if the dealer should have even sold that car w/warranty (I assume) vs sending it to auction. If it has an owner installed transmission cooler, I'd be concerned this might void the warranty, if an issue should arise.

Yes, someone did this on here. He even had videos of him testing it and showing it working. Wish I can find it, that thread was a while ago.
