Why the V6 is the Best Choice

Congrats on 10K of trouble free driving...my V-6 doesn't have the 3.55 rear and it seems plenty potent. I wonder how much quicker it would feel from stoplights? I didn't get to test drive any V-6s with the 3.55 but I can only imagine. How's your MPG now that your engine is broken in?

mpg with 3.55 rear

Pretty good mpg. I've seen 30mpg on I-40. But in town 22mpg. My average is around 20mpg. I drive fast :-(
I've driven the 3.15 rear. It felt slow. I think the 3.55 rear is the way to go. It's fast.

I am soon putting 3.73 gears in my car. That will really wake it up compared to the stock 3.15 gears.

Getting the full torsen pumpkin or just the 3.73 gear set? IMO, if you're going to tear it up, might as well put the torsen in.

Yeah man the v6 is nice I get a lot of compliments as well. Not a bad car at all to own at the age of 24

Coming from driving a V6 for the past 10 years, i put up with the grief from the V8 guys. it was the car for me at the time. the V6 is a great engine.

just, this time around, the V8 was the right option for me. and now that i am a V8 guy, i will never give anyone grief for choosing the V6 or the EB.

same boat had a 2010 v6 and 2014 v6 and this time around said screw it im going with the 8 would do it again in a heart beat gas mileage isint even that bad for me im spending the ssam thing on gas i was weekly with the 14 v6 i only suffer on road trips where my v6 would get 35mpg now ill get anywhere from 26-29mpg
