Why no cams for 15gt?

Absolutely love it. !! To be honest though was a little upset when I saw the new camaros numbers lol kinda a kick in the face that it's overall better as much as I hate to say.

Is this the RS2 or did you upgrade it yourself? The mirror caps are throwing me off lol

Also, I was not aware of the cams in our cars either, so you're not alone.

For the uneducated in the realms of cams, such as myself, what benefits and hiderences would I expect from such a mod?

Do cams have a greater benefit on just hp, torque, both?

Will it affect driveability? With the benefits, would I really care!

Will my fuel consumption get worse with normal, unspirited driving?

Cams allow your intake and exhaust valves either open longer, further or both. This allows more air and fuel into the combustion chamber. It adds both torque and hp. There is a point of diminishing returns though. The higher lift and duration you go the harder it is to tune it to stock-like idle and drivability.

If you're trying to squeeze out every last horsepower you can then cams are a good place to go however it certainly is NOT the first mod you should be considering. These upgrades are better suited for moderately to severely modified motors.

Doesnt seem to say anything about power improvement on the 15 engine though.... Just lift specs etc and cobra jet stuff
