There’s many options. It’s the first thing I did with my 2021. After a week, I quickly came to the conclusion I would never like the stock shifter. A $70 fix.
I don't get why people say that interior quality is bad, that's the cheapest that interior gets and it looks fine to me. The seats in particular are very nice for "base" seats and better than the mustang in that regard. Awesome color too. Did you disable the skip shift? Or does the new LT1 not have that?

Agreed. Any car review i watch they all say the camaro visibility isnt great..but that the interior is much better than the mustang. I agree with that as well. Imo

The Camaro never interested me personally. Design wise its not much to look at inside or out. No love for the pushrod GM exhaust note either.

Here’s some more pictures of the interior. Outside of the upgraded Ricaro seats, this is the base Camaro interior. It’s as nice as a Ford Fusion or Chevy Malibu, nothing spectacular but not as bad as some make it out to be.

I thought disabling the 1 to 4 skip shift requirement would have been the very first “mod” after I purchased the vehicle but it’s rare I shift under 3k out of 1st gear so I never see the requirement.

yes you use a tune or a $20 dongle (Amazon) to defeat the skip-shift. Or you drive in such a manner (use some actual throttle in 1st gear) to bypass the damnable "feature".

Sure, and I can fit in a Miata if the top is down. Still can't see though, I'm at eye level with the windshield frame. You shouldn't have to take the roof off a car to resolve a visibility issue.

With the recent posts over on the wide-body GT/350 thread, one reason not to buy a Camaro is so you can spend big $$$ to make your GT/350 as ugly and cartoonish as a Camaro is right out of the box. :)

C'mon - that's nitpicking and being unreasonably demanding.

Had to buy a Mustang. Grandkids said they would cut me out of their will if I didn't drive the same car they did. I barely got approval for a coupe.

I'll bet the 0-60" time is better on the car to the right and especailly the turning circle. I bet it has WAY less bodyroll too. Does it at least have a switch for vroom-vroom auditory supplements?

Affirmative on all but the 5 foot times. They are not ones to piss off, so I let them win. Of course they say they won because electric has max torque at zero RPM.

It isn’t about quality of materials, it’s just for myself personally that the Camaro interior design is unattractive compared to an S550. Recaro’s are nice regardless of what car they are in.

Yep. But hey, I understand GM had to do something with the Aztek designers with seniority after killing off Pontiac.

And the vert w/ the top down resolves the low roof, gun slit/chop top look. A Camaro with the top down is the best looking Camaro. Nice car
I agree, the combination of the LT1 front and convertible sold me. I was a fan of the non-SS front the moment it was released to the public summer 2018. A 4 of 6 cylinder was a non-starter for me though. The LT1 model was the answer for me as I’ve never been a fan of the SS. The 2020 “SS update” was an improvement but only took me from dislike to indifferent. To each their own.
