I had a ‘15 GTPP for almost 4 years before my GT350. I know it wasn’t an 18+ or A10. And I’m not dismissing them at all. The gen 3 coyote, especially with the A10 is crazy value for the money (I couldn’t STAND the MT-82 fwiw).

But for me, it’s no contest. I knew on the drive home the first time I wound it out to 8250 that I would never go back to a GT. The car demands to have the sh** pounded out of it every time you drive it.

It literally took the feeling I had driving my Boss 302 and multiplied it by 10. Drive one again, get it up to temp, find a back road with some twisties, and give her hell. I promise you, you’ll have a different opinion. And if you can swing it, 100% worth the extra cash.

I will say this and it might hurt... but I think that anyone who does not like the GT350, cannot afford it in fact. I personally hate the F430 Scuderia...

I just feel locked in sitting in and driving a GT350. I didn’t get that same feeling in a Challenger or ZL1. No knock on either one. The tranny , handling and cockpit all feel just right . People tell me they can’t see over the hood and the low torque make the GT 350 undesirable, but in the turns it handles awesome . I’d like to one day test drive a GT500.

The Challenger feels great, but more disconnected than the Mustang. The Mustang "brings you in" in a way the Challenger cannot.
But the Challenger has its own attributes.

No question I love my GT. However, if I had money, and a larger garage, I would probably have a Challenger, too. More so to get more people in, and not have to drive the Explorer (no, the Challenger cannot fit in the garage space where the Explorer is).

you have a 19. The people with issues seem concentrated in the '15/16MY and some bleed over into 17.
Do your research, 15/16 have the least problems. 17 and up are the most problematic

Can’t compare the Camaro as it’s ugly to me and I won’t consider it. The 350 I have never drop and I would want one and it appears to be a great car but not sure it’ll make a great daily so I don’t know...

However I come from a Charger R/T 5.7, a 392 Scat Charger, and most recently a 392 WideBody Challenger.
I will say I loved my challenger and it’s personality and it was quick for sure. However it is a large heavy car and that shows in the handling.
I made the switch to Mustang because I was fed up with the build quality of Dodge (came to find out that Ford isn’t much better) however the Mustang is unique in its own right... wish I could own them both as I’m not sure which one is my favorite if a 392 WideBody and a PP1 GT we’re both parked out front not sure which keys I’d reach for first...

It’s the seat of your pants that make you happy and or not so much. I have owned the C4 Corvette Z06s, C5,C6 and most recently the Stingray with the Z51 package. I just last year sold both of my Hellcats Challenger and Charger 2016 models. Then last summer picked up a Focus RS (what a blast) as well as a used GT350. I went to the Ford Dealer my favorite one and was planning on buying a 2018 GT Mustang with the 10speed auto and love that tranny. The dealer had just taking in a freshly used 17 GT350 blue and all the sales guys persuaded me to buy her. And of course their is someone else there just hoping I don’t buy it and adds to the pressure of do I walk and or buy. So of course I buy her feeling don’t want to miss the used deal. And after owning her for 7 months and putting less than 1000 miles on her I traded her back in for a 2019 GT PP1 with Magna Ride Auto Orange Fury. And many may say your crazy but the 350 just did not fit the seat of my pants. The 6 speed manual and truly high revs to get her going and the active exhaust cut out once you hit 6th gear. And the cloth seats were tight being the Recaro and no heated seat nor cooling seats and or leather. The bigger tires do make the car a little more radical in lousy road conditions since she will walk. So not here BASHING the 350 just sharing my own seat of the pants story and I have put over 3k miles in less than 3-4 months on my Orange Fury.

If Chrysler made the engines all aluminum, and with no cylinder deactivation crap (unnecessary complexity and weight), they'd be less front heavy, and I'm sure they'd handle better. But still, the Challenger is way too heavy, so haven't even been curious to drive one. If the lighter Charger had a manual tranny, and said engine changes, it'd be more attractive. The Mustang is no lightweight, but by all accounts, it handles much better than at least a Challenger in PP1 form. And it's still a 3,850-lb beast, at least in Bullitt guise. So borderline pig. Ha ha. The build quality is probably not any better, but the Dodges look much cheaper than at least the Bullitt.

You would actually be surprised at how well the Challenger handles for a car it's size. I was.

I sold my 2016s and sat it out awhile to see if a Demon beater would be made. So late last year I picked up new 2019s.The Redeye Challenger and Charger Hellcat. The huge discounts drove me back to the Hellcats otherwise probably would have not picked them up again.

I didn't like the GT350 I test drove. It reminded me of everything I didn't like about my Porsche (stiff ride, no low end torque and very high strung) but it is big and heavy and the transmission isn't as good as a PDK. I'd buy another Porsche before I bought a GT350.
