yeah they sound badass, but not as badass as 8000 rpm wot sounds especially when blown..
Dont forget when cammed (LT1's) they are usually spun to 7k even 7500.

I like to pull up to the pump, step out, and start pumping fuel. Walking around to the passenger side is annoying.
Move to New Jersey.

The 1st post there talks about "internet chatter" regarding build quality.
I have seen many posts about body panel gaps being almost nothing and body panels rubbing together like trunk lids and driver doors causing body damage. That was pretty big a few years ago with the Mustang, and even the GT350. I remember seeing a video from a dealership where they were opening and closing the drivers door and it was creaking and rubbing on the front fender like an old truck. Cracking the paint off and whatnot. Looked HORRIBLE. On the other hand, Chevy's paint orange peel has been a nightmare for the corvette guys. Cars were needing to be wet sanded from the factory just to get them to look normal. Like complete wet sand, whole car.

I bought a 2015 GT PP new off the lot on Labor Day 2015. It was exactly the car I wanted. I loved that car. But in 2018 my wife and I had a new home built and since our other home hadn’t sold yet, I made the sacrifice of selling my GT (it was 1 of 3 vehicles we owned and the least practical) so we could by all new furniture. My only stipulation was that when our old home sold, I was getting back into a fast car.

When time came to purchase my new car, I wasn’t sold on the GT’s new refresh, the significant price increase for the PP option, and was hearing things about the new Gen 3 coyote (ticking) at the time. So I decided to try a 2018 Camaro 2SS 6spd (again bought new on Labor Day). I love the manual of the Camaro over the MT-82, the handling of the SS, and the HUD. Looks of either are subjective and I try to make whatever I drive look good.

In the end, the Camaro feels super dialed in, while my Mustang felt more primal. I still miss my Stang and was even looking at 2020 GT A10 this week that arrived a local dealer.

@ZXMustang, just FYI, the Mach1 can be had with the A10.
Really. Did not know that. That might be it then. But if they are getting ADMs and selling over sticker, then no way. I want invoice minus rebates. I wont accept anything else for the selling price unless they want to give me their holdback as well.

If you're not buying the 1LE trim then buy a Mustang because there is so VASTLY much more aftermarket support for the Mustang such that you can fix all of the problems with it. Pus the M6G forum is better than Camaro6
Totally agree. My son has a 1LE (V6, but still) and there is very little aftermarket presence. And the camaro6 forum is terrible!

In terms of aftermarket, if you are referring to engine/tuning/horsepower, I would disagree. The LT1 engine has all the options for full bolt-on power you could ever want. There are all manner of blowers, turbos and engine boltons.

It's all there for the SS. Not near as much for the V6. I know, it's a V6. and why would you buy one. But he wanted something a little more affordable, but price and insurance wise. We've looked at a lot of things, and most is geared to either the SS, or the turbo 4. What we could find for the V6, is specifically for the '15-'18. When we ask if it'll work on a 2019, we get mostly "it should".

Yeah hearing an LT1 with a big cam and headers is magical. And FYI, Chevy solved the rear visibility problem with the rearview mirror camera now. Instead of a conventional rearview mirror, its now a complete screen that shows a rear camera image. And its awesome.
its really trippy at first, but its pretty neat lol
