Had a 15 lt2 C7 a8 at same time as my 18 pp1 a10. Liked the Ford better for almost half the moola. Still like the c5 over c6 maro myself.
Move to New Jersey.I like to pull up to the pump, step out, and start pumping fuel. Walking around to the passenger side is annoying.
The thread is up over there if you want to read it.This thread is pretty great. I'm curious to see where the C6G version goes.
For some reason I associate passenger-side fuel doors with boring cars. Every econobox I've been around has it on right, and every sporty/sports/performance cars has had it on the left.
I have seen many posts about body panel gaps being almost nothing and body panels rubbing together like trunk lids and driver doors causing body damage. That was pretty big a few years ago with the Mustang, and even the GT350. I remember seeing a video from a dealership where they were opening and closing the drivers door and it was creaking and rubbing on the front fender like an old truck. Cracking the paint off and whatnot. Looked HORRIBLE. On the other hand, Chevy's paint orange peel has been a nightmare for the corvette guys. Cars were needing to be wet sanded from the factory just to get them to look normal. Like complete wet sand, whole car.The 1st post there talks about "internet chatter" regarding build quality.
Really. Did not know that. That might be it then. But if they are getting ADMs and selling over sticker, then no way. I want invoice minus rebates. I wont accept anything else for the selling price unless they want to give me their holdback as well.@ZXMustang, just FYI, the Mach1 can be had with the A10.
Totally agree. My son has a 1LE (V6, but still) and there is very little aftermarket presence. And the camaro6 forum is terrible! If you're not buying the 1LE trim then buy a Mustang because there is so VASTLY much more aftermarket support for the Mustang such that you can fix all of the problems with it. Pus the M6G forum is better than Camaro6
In terms of aftermarket, if you are referring to engine/tuning/horsepower, I would disagree. The LT1 engine has all the options for full bolt-on power you could ever want. There are all manner of blowers, turbos and engine boltons.Totally agree. My son has a 1LE (V6, but still) and there is very little aftermarket presence. And the camaro6 forum is terrible!

its really trippy at first, but its pretty neat lolYeah hearing an LT1 with a big cam and headers is magical. And FYI, Chevy solved the rear visibility problem with the rearview mirror camera now. Instead of a conventional rearview mirror, its now a complete screen that shows a rear camera image. And its awesome.
