Great, I'll go gouge my eyes out now...
Which is why I wear a patch over one eye. That way I won't be blinded by a single sighting because I'll only need to gouge out the unpatched eye.

For me it was solely looks, and that's just a personal preference thing. I highly prefer the exterior and interior of the Mustang. You'll have to decide for yourself. Don't let an internet full of strangers try to sway you one way or the other. You and only you have to enjoy the ride every time you get in whichever you go with.

They are small I just felt more cluster phobic and I can’t see out of them without looking outside of my windows like a absolute hooligan. I prefer longer coupes! Imo the 6.2 doesn’t sound all that good compared to the 5.0. Plus aftermarket support for the mustang are plentiful and endless. I don’t care about what’s the better car or whatever Mustang vs Camaro. It’s all bout what you want in you vehicle. Camaros do have some cooler features but nothing to crazy. Camaros also win the track, I’m not a big track guy. At the end it’s you car just pick what’s is right for you and your taste!!

I think I've said this somewhere before maybe even in this thread, but the main reason I didn't get a Camaro was the styling of the car interior and exterior. They're really just was nothing about it that I liked.

But I've never been a Chevy person and have never owned one. I did however own several Oldsmobiles over the years and loved them.. Besides, I boycott GM anyway after the Goober Maroon car company canceled Pontiac and Oldsmobile and Saab and Saturn, all unforgivable sins, I don't think I could buy a GM product.

Imagine if they had kept oldsmobile, and did a 442 on the same platform.

My 2020 Bullitt was my first Ford. I was always an antu Ford guy. But I had a punch list and the car checked every box and I'm a proud owner. I am extremely impressed and at almost 2 years of ownership I like the car more and more.

I was such an anti-ford guy that when I told my dad, he thought I was lying. When I got back from Iraq in 2007 my dad and I arranged to test drive the Camaro Mustang and Challenger back-to-back. It was a fun day and we both agreed at the time that the Challenger felt the most old school muscle car, that the Camaro had the best overall handling and performance, but the mustang felt the most like a Sports car.

It's a shame that GM uses cartoon car designers to develop their vehicles.

Well said. The Mustang is visually long and streamlined as opposed to the Camaro which is boxy with windows that look like gun ports. In the end it's just a matter of taste.

For me, I had several bad experiences dealing with Chevy. One example was a denied warranty on a brand new S10 when the door weld cracked and the door wouldn't close. Blaming us on it since I was 17 at the time. It only had 200 miles on it!

Also, for me the Mustang has a better community with great people. Ford Nationals at Carlisle every year and CJ Pony parts only 20 minutes away helps the addiction.

A good amount of my family work for ford or retire from ford. So we are a ford family. And we are glad to support the brand.

The digital dash, the availability of a “special” model that was significantly cheaper than a zl1, and the trunk. Also I never found dealers like granger or chapman on the chevy side.

lindsay/koons here in NoVA back in the good days of yesteryear (2019) were writing deals for 4 below Invoice. Chapman has a Chevy delership in his repertoire but isn't writing deals due to lack of availability though I might call him up again and ask about factory ordered...

With any luck Granger will buy the Caddy/Chevy dealership across the street from his Ford location and you'll have that one to consider...

For me its because i try not to get the same vehicle as anyone in my family. My brothers and I all have a love for cars, (not brand specific..). So If one gets say a Camaro which my brother does have a 17 SS i opted for its rival.
