ive been running methanol for 15 years and never had a pump fail. My guess is garbage pump or garbage install. There are also failsafe devices. You turned it into swiss cheese not the meth.
ok master tech..... I didn’t blame anyone. Said I had it tuned too hot on the Meth. Had to chuckle at the “garbage install” part. Kids.... I tell ya. ;-)

Interesting discussion. Before I bought my 2018, while I still had the 2019 Bullitt with a Whipple on it, I wanted to get an automatic trans S550. Leaning towards the '18 but I thought I would call Whipple to see that they thought about the 18 up vs the 17 down. I cannot remember who I spoke with, maybe Dustin. He said they believed that the 17 down engines handled FI better with less issues.

I knew I was going FI, but decided the 10R80 trans was more important. Then decided to do the Procharger instead.

15-17 do allow for more boost only because they have 11.0:1 compression ratio vs. the 12.0:1 on 18+

Not a Gen 3 but for comparison sake. Gen 2, Whipple, 11.8psi pump 94, 740whp/560TQ, 10.8 at 136 in 3700DA. 1.9 60ft. Full weight PP1 car, MT82. Car weighed in at 4008lbs basically on empty tank of fuel and me in it.
