Haha... I can't wait. Literally. My current driver is a wreck and I just hope it can hold together till my 'stang arrives since I refuse to use any more money on fixing it :D

Though of course... I really want a convertible ... but damn that coupe is sexy :D

I probably will, but I'll still test drive one just for shits and giggles. I'm about to go test drive a '14 GT 6-spd here in the next few days, so I bet that knowing the new one will perform better is enough for me.

I want to test drive the EB and the GT. I will most likely go for the GT, I love me some v8 POWA! But i really want to see how well this new EB engine is in the new Mustang. The fuel economy might sway me just because I plan to make this my last Mustang.

You won't be let down. I test drove one in January and that sealed the deal for me. I knew the s550 was what I intended to buy this year. My current car has ~200hp and is very light, so the jump to 420 hp was mindblowing. The kid who I test drove it with let me floor it so I got to experience 1st gear at WOT, it put a huge grin on my face  :D:D:D

Nice interior and shifter too. The 2015 should be breathtaking.

Most definitely. From everything I've seen and heard, I have 100% faith in the new girl on the block.

No way Im dropping 40-45k on a car without test driving...

There have been plenty of cars that should have been good on paper and have been utterly disappointing after driving (BMW 335i/STI for example)....

I will be ordering before I drive it as I will be overseas when it is released and able to be driven. I want to take advantage of the overseas military buying program. It will be a Premium Guard PP GT and if possible I would rather have the 3.55 but I don't think that's going to be an option as the 3.73 has a torsen and i don't know what the 3.55 has.

I have no problem with it as one I can always decline the order if I don't like it and two I'm absolutely sure I will not be disappointed. It's not like buying a used car, it's brand new; if anything happens with it or has a defect I can always take it in to the dealership.

The OP's question was whether you would ORDER one without a test drive. You're not "dropping 40-45k" until you take delivery and sign on the dotted line, and I don't think anyone would recommend doing that without a test drive first...

I'll wait to test drive one before I buy one.
It's a FACT that we don't know what the production model will be. Hell, they don't even have an idea what the finished production model will be like.
We can speculate all we want, but we really don't know what the final product will be like.
I don't care if it's only $500 refundable down payment. I guess I have a commitment issues. I'm sure there will be plenty of pre-orders that won't get picked up for me to test drive. Mustang isn't a limit production car.. why threat it like one?
