I just bought a Ford racing X mid pipe but actually it does not fit my MBRP cat back which is 3'' (the Ford racing X pipe might be 2.5''), could you pls let me know who's building a 3'' X pipe?

Thanks.

I don't believe anyone makes a 3" midpipe that will mate to the MBRP system as most resonator delete kits are made to fit with the factory exhaust. The MBRP system is designed to mate at the factory connection before the resonator.

So the only way I see you being able to mate the FRPP X pipe to the MRBP system would be to have an exhaust shop cut/weld it to make it work.

I assume you are running headers as well?
I just cut the front of the MRBP's back 12" and had a good muffler shop weld in 3"pieces.
3" all the way back now..however it's a H not an X

This would probably be the easiest route, and you'll probably end up spending less than if you got a pre-made unit, too.

I've finally bought a 3' crossover tru X Magnaflow pipe from Summit racing to weld on to my 3' MRBP catback in place of the H pipe.

Yhe H crossover indeed gives a nice old style rumble but it's good up to 5K rpms, beyond that it fails to scavange properly and the engine does not revs properly..
