I am currently running a Gen 3 stage 2 whipple on my 11.1 aluminator with ARP headstuds. Right now I’m running a 3.625 pulley and made 750/580 on E85 with mark cat deletes. I was thinking of dropping a pulley size but I figured if I was going to pay for a new pulley and tune revision I might as well drop two sizes to the 3.375. I’m curious if anyone running a 3.375 pulley has issues with breaking belts and what kind of power to expect with it on E85.

I ran a 3.3" with 93 and meth for a short period with no ill effects on 6 rib belt. Went back to 3.5" for safety on stock motor.

I'm on the 3.6 with long tubes and 94 and did 750whp. Why you only at 750 with E85?

I’m not sure. A guy with the exact setup as me but with longtubes made 800whp on the same dyno so I figured it sounded about right.

I'm currently on a 3.625 pulley on 93, but PBD suggested I could go down to 3.375 when we start tuning for E85. After this current tank of 93 I'll be making the switch.

When going down from 3.625 to 3.375 is a new belt recommended or do you need to make an adjustment to the tensioner?

I'm running the 3.1 pulley on E85 right now. Not the best idea for belt slip but I'm seeing 15psi and it should be just a tad over 800whp on e85. I made 793 on the 3.2 but I'm getting a little more belt slip now. My 10-rib kit will be here this week.

You have headers? I just ordered one of those new griptech pulleys through lethal, 3.25. I’m trying to avoid 10 rib kit for fear of breaking crank snout Lol.

Yeah I have headers and no cats. I lost about 1.5psi going to that. I just ordered a griptech 3.75 for the 10-rib setup. I don't see any on their site listed for the 6-rib Whipple. Only 6-rib Procharger.

What mods? I expected more power on the 3.1

I was only estimating that based off it making 793 on the 3.2 for the purposes of this discussion. Every dyno is different but I've used the same dyno since the beginning. The car made 750 on the 3.5 pulley. so roughly 20-25ish whp per psi for me. Of course it's hard to gauge any belt slip is holding a few hp back. It's right in the ball park for what it runs. At 15psi/793whp it ran mid 9s and I suspect it will go a bit faster with the new fuel system.
