It was. Due to the misalignment of the maf tube, I cracked the metal tab that the screw goes through on the maf sensor. Dustin thinks that I probably damaged the sensor when that happened. He's sending me out a new tube and evap bracket still. Because he's awesome.

The reason I asked, once the guy who installed my Paxton, had cracked the MAF body (very small, you couldn't see it), and under boost, the air was getting out and the sensor was getting confused and it took a while to find out it was a cracked MAF.
The smallest issue with MAF sensor, the car runs like shit.

Yeah, so it would seem. Mine ended up being slightly cockeyed and wasn't sitting flush, so I super taped it up tight, but I think the damage was done. We'll see tomorrow if Ford has a MAF in stock

Best thing is to get a new MAF. That's what I did, went to Chevy and got one.

No, not right now. I'm going to see how it fairs. I'll be deploying at in a few months so when I come back in the winter, I won't really need it. If I move to Florida, I'll definitely upgrade. That was the only upgrade I didn't get.


The install wasn't really bad at all, minus breaking my MAF. All in all, took me 15 hours on the dot. Then 3 hours of troubleshooting haha
