They put a twin screw on my last mustang and did excellent work.

Well it looks like I picked up a Whipple kit. We will see if it all pans out. I will be doing the install myself.
It's a non issue in my book. Between the 4th or 5th gear topic and the fact that PD blowers do tail off in the upper r.p.m.s on torque it isn't a big deal. The only thing that has me scared away from the Whipple kit is the low torque numbers in comparison to HP. The Procharger kits look way better on that end.
If I floor it below 60 in 3rd, the tires light up. A lot of good more torque would do meThe only thing that has me scared away from the Whipple kit is the low torque numbers in comparison to HP. The Procharger kits look way better on that end.

Agreed, but with a set of MT ET drag radials you'll want that torque. Damn so hard to make a final decision on what kit to getIf I floor it below 60 in 3rd, the tires light up. A lot of good more torque would do me![]()
Seller backed out. Must not be my day to buy a blower. Always gotta have a back up plan though.Congrats, keep up informed

I would not agree with that at all. Even with drag radials I will have traction issues with low RPM torque.Agreed, but with a set of MT ET drag radials you'll want that torque. Damn so hard to make a final decision on what kit to get
Join the cool kids on the playground man! We roll deep :first:^^heard this as well from a trusted source. The argument against PD vs Centri is usually low end torque and instant on power being useless in a street application because, well, tire smoke. Seems whipple tuned their kit for the majority of s550 drivers who's cars may only see a track a handful of times in its lifetime (if at all) but will get plenty of flogging on the street or an impromptu/planned dig.
Makes me that much closer to pulling the trigger on the whipple....love the oem fit/finish/tune quality/drive ability out of the box. Last thing I'd want after installing a blower is to have to chase down a good tune like some of these other FI threads.
