Now I need a whipple!
I'm curious what the behavior is on this car if the rear end starts to slide out and then you let off of the gas, does it want to whip back hard and turn the car around like the previous mustangs? I put a whipple charger on my older mustang and it scared me a bit too much the way the car would slide back the other direction when letting off the gas after getting squirrly...
Hard to monitor as there is no PID to data log at the aftermarket level IAT2, but I can assure you very little heat soak. And when comparing to others, significantly less.....How have your Iat's been?? Getting much heat soak?
Good! Was a little worried but I was hoping those dual fans on the heat exchanger make a difference. Looks like they do!
Dual fan's certainly help but by no means mandatory. If its mandatory, it comes with the kit so you can go either way.Good! Was a little worried but I was hoping those dual fans on the heat exchanger make a difference. Looks like they do!
This has been covered over and over again man. It will not decrease MPGs while cruising, in fact it will probably increase MPG as long as you aren't constantly boosting. Otherwise, it drives like a more efficient NA when out of boost.I'm interested in seeing it's effect on highway cruising mpg. I commute to work everyday and hope it won't decrease.
Thanks for the reply, I'm sold on the whipple based on what looks like great tune and then the great results people are getting on the dyno, and last but not least, the beautiful sound that they make during accelerationNot sure exactly what your asking but this is a rear wheel drive car. It will do what you described and it's something that you learn how to avoid or overcome with practice. Leaving the traction control on will make a difference for you.
