Im tempted to try a 3.50" with some race gas.
Which injectors do you have? With the BAP, you will have just enough fuel. Lethal Performance ran this on there car. After this they went to ID1000's and ran the 3.375 and 3.25" pulleys on race gas. Power keeps climbing and still stock motor.

Certainly! If you add race gas, you can get more aggressive with timing too. The 3.50" will run on 93-94 octane with the ID1000's so you can really step on it with the higher octane.

Installed my enclosed air box today and thought I'd take some pictures and note the install.

First picture is because Whipple lol. This work of art just doesn't get seen enough.

The new enclosed box uses the factory rubber pieces from the stock air box and stock mounting hardware.

Dustin told me getting the new box in there was tight, but it fits and he wasn't kidding lol.

To make things easier I took off the top shroud and the drivers side radiator support bracket and with a little maneuvering I was able to get it in there. I did this without the filter in place and after the box fell into its hole and without bolting it down I was able to install the filter, then bolt it into place.

Then I attached the coolant fill to the side of the air box. I also ended up slicing off about 1.50" of the hose to make it fit just so.

Then all that was left was to install the cover.

I must say, the fitment of this box is absolutely spot on. The cover and box is shaped to follow the lines of the engine compartment perfectly.

I couldn't be happier with the outcome, this thing looks like it was there from the factory. Home run Dustin.

My only question is where to stick the carb compliant decal? I was thinking on the underneath of the hood next to the OEM decals? Or maybe on the fan shroud to the right of the OEM one?

No, very light and easily lighter than the metal shroud it replaces.

It looks clean. Is the closed airbox for CARB? Is there any benefit/decrease in performance?

Emissions and to keep excess heat out. We've also went to a injection molded MAF housing as well, further reducing any radiant heat (very small).

So my question is, do you put a towel down every time you go over a puddle? My god the bottom of that car looks cleaner than a new car! :D:D:D:D:D:D

So, your telling me that you don't wash and wax the underneath of your car? I'm the only one who does this? That why I bought a lift :)

I just hit a whopping 2,500 miles and I'm sure that's why. Believe it or not I do drive it in the rain lol.
