Question for you guys.

I'm thinking of having Tasca install 1/2 shafts while it's there for SC because I'm having them swap the 3.73 for 3.31 anyway.

I'm thinking of using "driveshaft shop" 800 hp set because the Ford Racing ones are on back order.

Does anyone have an opinion on driveshaft shop vs FFRP? I'm thinking they are probably at least as good or better but have no real knowledge on the subject.

Don't wanna sound dumb but will swapping to either set increase nvh?

Thank guys,
Jaime

Not sure on the nvh, but if you are gonna drive aggressively you should change them. There have been a few break already with just a tune and drag radials. If you cant wait on the FRPP ones get the DSS 1400 hp ones.

We have the Driveshaft Shop version and they are great! Link if you wanted more info: http://www.steeda.com/the-driveshaft-shop-mustang-800hp-axle-pair-2015-dss-ra85056x4/

We also installed their carbon fiber driveshaft and the fit and finish is superb!: http://www.steeda.com/the-driveshaf...bon-fiber-1-piece-cv-shaft-2015-dss-fdsh26-c/

Here to help with any questions.

Thanks,
David

I wouldn't say aggressive just spirited if I had to choose a word. I only put about 2k miles a year on my car and will see probably zero track time. Just like to let her rip now and again.

Just figuring if it's gonna be apart I should swap them out now for piece of mind.

But why 1400 hp over 800 hp? I will never mod the motor itself more, prob just LT headers and hi - flow cats.

Thanks,
Jaime

To my knowledge the FRPP are rated @1500 so the comparable would be the DSS 1400. If you just drive spirited the 800hp will work fine.

Thanks David!

So do you recommend the 1400 or 800 HP set? Is there any increase in NVH ?
Thanks,
Jaime

Just go with the 1400, it will give you more room to grow. I know the I am going to be tempted to swap out the pulley and tune for more power.

If it's a possibility you will want to continue upgrading down the line, then the 1400. :)

We did not really notice too much of an increase in NVH!

Thanks,
David

If at all possible could you post me some pictures of the PCV hose coming from the drivers side valve cover showing where exactly is is routed and where the other end goes?
