I'm in the process of installing a Whipple and I'm at the part where it says to use the supplied fuel line removal tool to remove the fuel line. However I don't see a fuel line removal tool listed in the parts check list. What does the tool look like and does anyone know what else is should be packaged with? Thanks.

Also step 36 says "remove the brake booster vacuum line from check valve by removing the pinch clamp" does anyone have a picture of this or can give me some more detail to where the check valve is located?

I figured out the fuel line tool was not needed but still could use some help with step 26.

it's definitely needed. You have to disconnect the fuel line near the firewall. You'll figure this out like I did later in the install when you connect the whipple supplied fuel lines.

it's not the blue connecter with the red arrow in picture 37...that one can be done with your fingers

as far as the brake booster line, just remove that entire line thats connected to the brake booster.

It's actually easier to remove the check valve from the break booster. Just pull it out of the grommet. You might hear air escape but that's no big deal. The clamp that holds the check valve on is a dual clip and a pain to remove but it's super easy when you take the check valve off the booster. I'll pm you my notes and see if anything else helps you.

Obviously you figured that the fuel line with what they send now can be done with your fingers easily.

I didn't use any special tools to remove my fuel line. They had pinch clips on them so it was easy to remove.

Check out my instal thread, I ran into the same problem as you. Whipple has changed the fuel line and now is a shorter 4" line that connects directly to the OEM fuel line. You no longer have to disconnect from the hard line at the firewall. The reason for this is Whipple consolidated some common parts between the Mustang and F150 and now share the same short line. Also the banjo fitting is moved to the front and the fuel line with the added 4" whipple line connects there.

Not following, why would they be hard to gap?

Compared to gapping normal plugs it has taken more time. One tap too hard and start all over.

They changed it twice. Lol.

On my set up you use the stock fuel line from the firewall. You run the line forward and whipple supplies a short line w a 90 end to connect to the fuel rail banjo MOUNTED ON FRONT LEFT CORNER NOT BACK BY FIREWALL.
The reason is the motor rocks and having some compliance in the fuel line is very desirable instead a short stiff run from firewall to back left corner.
Also, make sure you have most recent manual and always suspect the manual is approzimately correct. Relax and have fun.
