Are you on drugs? Like seriously are you loaded right now? I dumped on no ones car. I simply was responding to your comment "Until the first turn". That is only going to happen on a track not on the street where MOST people in the world whether it is right or wrong will compare performance. If somebody has a stock GT350 on the street and a supercharged GT car pulls next to him and they race the GT will more than likely win that race. Whether the GT350 was built for that or not is invalid if he engages in the race unless he is going to use that as an excuse for losing the race which is a ricer thing to do.
Speaking of ricer things to do... Wanting to believe that the only category where your car excels is the most significant aspect when comparing to other cars is truly ricer. Honda loses - "Well my car has xHP/liter"... Whipple GT cant make it twice around the track and "well, if this was a drag race, I'd win"... Point is, there are many aspects that make up an enjoyable experience in a car..for you to hang your hat on straight line performance isn't very open-minded. You also seem hung up on what other people think about what makes a fast car or enjoyable car. I don't think it's up to them.

Lol... and that's if you enjoy street racing. If you aren't actually racing on the street, and many here are NOT... I'd take the more enjoyable car to drive and IMO, that's a 350. Pick what you want, I'm not going to argue with you. If you want a drag race car, then FI GT will serve you well.

There's also quite a few morons that spend 20K upgrading a 35K car, only to sell it 2 years later for 25K, and during those two years they spend it trying to race people at stop lights so that they can impress their child like friends in the back seat. You know that is true. Lots of idiots with no common sense.
DrDing.Muscle you have just been served! HAHAHAHAHAH

What's even funnier is that just before he posted in this thread talking about how all that matters is straight line speed and street racing, he posted the following in a thread where a guy is moving from a mustang to a Challenger:

GT will destroy that challenger in just about every category and the 5.0 responds so well to mods especially boost.
Then when people called him out saying no way that a stock 5.0 takes a 6.4 challenger he responds with this:

Maybe not in straight line but in everything else. It's too big and heavy to do any cornering or braking.
All of a sudden cornering and braking DO matter!! Looks like the Dr. might be suffering from an undiagnosed multiple personality disorder

Who cares what Dr. says, I just look at the avatar.

I think a GT350 with a Whipple would be a beast...until it became a rolling fireball.

until the first corner...
Whoop there it is  Never fails to pop up quick when comparing anything to a GT350... Even if a FI GT is faster in a straight line it will never sound as good as a voodoo doing it!

I wouldn't even consider supercharging any of the newer cars without opg upgrade. That being said, I was being a smart ass. I kinda knew what the answer would be. Well at least one anyway....

On a side note why would the oil pickup tube get "eaten" from a blower install?

Couldn't agree with you more. Unfortunately there are a lot of morons out there that would do just this. Buy a GT350 and never track it in their life. Drive it on the streets and race people light to light. You know it is true. Lots of idiots with too much money.

My comment was only saying very few people really truly care about cornering performance to that degree as a very small percentage of people in the world actually track their cars. That is my point.
What an ignorant statement but I guess I am one of those morons... My GT350 will be getting SC pretty soon...

gremlins.

They assemble the motor and if you feed them after midnight they forget to fasten things properly.

I really don't understand why all of you are saying all I care about is straight line performance. I never said that. I actually love all aspects of racing as I was just at VIR a few weeks back and I like drag racing too. I was merely pointing out to your comment about the GT350 only getting beaten until the first turn that there is a very small percentage of people that would care about that. I am not one of those people as I like all aspects of racing and cars and yes my whippled GT made it around VIR many times fairly quickly. You were putting words in my mouth. That is why I made the comment about the Challenger not being able to corner or stop because I do feel that is important. If you go back and read this entire thread you will never once see where I said that I FELT the only thing that mattered was straight line. I said that MOST people in the world don't care about cornering and typically MOST people who drive their cars on the street and never go to any kind of track judge performance by drag racing, I am not one of those people and never said I was. Read the text and don't assume or infer what people are saying. I was not trying to start anything in this thread, I was actually trying to be neutral and just give you a heads up about your comment that not everyone feels that way.

Merry Christmas and Happy holidays everybody. I hope you all have a fantastic Christmas with lots of mods to be left under your tree.

BTW this is what ETCH was saying that I don't disagree with. This is dron jones in another thread talking about racing light to light on the street when someone revs on him at a light. If he does this against a boosted GT he will lose. That is all I was saying. On the street where most people drive their cars 99% of the time cornering performance doesn't matter.

A challenger and a few gt mustangs have done it before. I usually give them some revs, make eye contact and when the light changes let them rip off while I laugh. I didn't buy the car for that purpose and the last thing I want is to be the next thread with video posted here of me losing control and looking like an a-hole.
