I was down at my local "speed shop" in the houston area (psi motorsports) yesterday and was surprised to hear that they had a 2nd gt350 in the shop. The customer was having a whipple put on their car.

If anyone knows who this is or if they are on the forums, i would love to hear the details once its tuned!

Wouldn't a turbo (or two) be a safer more efficient route?

Turbos are more efficient but you have more packaging issues and are arguably harder to tune.

Neither is really safer then the other.

Very few people on the street ever compare corning ability. With street performance it is always straight line performance. Only track junkies typically talk about cornering performance from my experience.

Hey i didn't come to your section of the forum and dump on your cars. Your buddy is impressed that his straight line built mustang can beat a purpose built track car in a straight line.

haha, whatever man. I was not aware we had "sections" we had to stay in now on the forum. Last time I checked we were all car enthusiasts who like to bullshit and talk about cars. Good luck in the future, sounds like you might need it.

Couldn't agree with you more. Unfortunately there are a lot of morons out there that would do just this. Buy a GT350 and never track it in their life. Drive it on the streets and race people light to light. You know it is true. Lots of idiots with too much money.

My comment was only saying very few people really truly care about cornering performance to that degree as a very small percentage of people in the world actually track their cars. That is my point.

Not hard to tell there are sections if you are able to read, its posted at the top if you need help finding it. Of course everyone is free to roam and post anywhere they want, its just usually common courtesy that you don't starting dumping on the other persons car. I guess maybe common courtesy isn't so common.

Enjoy driving straight.

There's also quite a few morons that spend 20K upgrading a 35K car, only to sell it 2 years later for 25K, and during those two years they spend it trying to race people at stop lights so that they can impress their child like friends in the back seat. You know that is true. Lots of idiots with no common sense.

Are you on drugs? Like seriously are you loaded right now? I dumped on no ones car. I simply was responding to your comment "Until the first turn". That is only going to happen on a track not on the street where MOST people in the world whether it is right or wrong will compare performance. If somebody has a stock GT350 on the street and a supercharged GT car pulls next to him and they race the GT will more than likely win that race. Whether the GT350 was built for that or not is invalid if he engages in the race unless he is going to use that as an excuse for losing the race which is a ricer thing to do.

No matter how fast your ride is, whether it be in a straight line or through curves, there's always someone else faster.

The performance world runs on cubic dollars!
