How about a valet tune, Whipple?

I need to leave my Mustang at the Ford Dealer for some warranty work (climate control system failure).

I would feel much better about it if it had an engine speed limiter at maybe 4500 RPM and didnt allow more than half throttle

Any chance of a calibration like that for those of us with the flare tool?

No the valet key only opens the door if the battery ever dies and the remote will not open the doors

Actually the valet key is not valet key. The key is for the owner to keep after locking the glove box and turning on valet mode in the dash. You give valet parking the fob.

My key is just for "parental controls" limits speed and radio volume but not like "valet" would do.. Similar but different

I believe that it was originally anticipated that the flare tool would allow for some customer logging capabilities. Is this in the works?

My understanding is "Whipple Guardian" will control traction by gear via MAF load calculations likely using throttle body control and some other factors to keep wheel spin in check. I believe other features are rolling out with it, but I can't remember what they are. Maybe Mr. Whipple will let the cat out of the bag.

It's fully capable, but we haven't turned the feature on just yet for other reasons.
