ok thanks and where does the pig tail jump into?
Would could one use then to view AIT 2 with Whipple cal. I would like to see AIT 2, engine coolant, spark/timing and other engine perimeters. Would the N gauge work or does Whipple have something coming. Our calibration and kit uses the stock MAF air temp sensor/channel for IAT1 and we use IAT2 via the GT500 style temp sensor, wired to the IMRC connector with a resistor, our software then reads this resistance to give IAT2. Therefore we use IAT2 for multiple things. IAT1 vs IAT2 differential, along with just IAT2. There are many factors that help increase/decrease power depending on varying conditions.
Standard aftermarket tools pull the IAT1 reading and make it an IAT2 so there is no temp differential, but they get to use the IAT2 for multiple compensations. It works very well this way as well and allows one to push the power level closer to the edge during ideal conditions.
With our cal, the IAT in the dash is IAT1 (MAF), IAT2 is a special PID address.
With an aftermarket tune and the sensor relocation, the dash will show post intercooler temps.
You could try an extra gauge. Ngauge, SCT, HP Tuners all can log but IAT2 isn't currently supported on any of those to my knowledge. You can add an extra analog sensor and tie into one of those systems.Would could one use then to view AIT 2 with Whipple cal. Is that in inlet elbow before throttle body your injecting into? Also what size nozzle you going to try?I'm really happy with how low the temps are after the intercooler. But, I'm going to try and get them a little lower soon

I'm going to use a 625ml nozzle and I tapped the elbow before the TB.Is that in inlet elbow before throttle body your injecting into? Also what size nozzle you going to try?

Nope, I will also be running a 50/50 mix.Does the meth damage the rotors?
I've got a new intercooler pump that flows more as well, hope to have it ready to ship next week. It's a 100% direct replacement and doubles the IC flow capacity.Nope, I will also be running a 50/50 mix.
IC fans are on all the time with engine rpm.I have a quick question. At what temp does the fan's on the IC turn on? I just realized my IAT temps in the dash will rise if at a stop light or idle. Highest its been is 123F, it cools right back down when I get up to speed.
Then I might have a problem, my fans do not come on with the car. Let me go look closer at it and see if I can find anything wrong.IC fans are on all the time with engine rpm.
Your temp in the dash is inlet temp, not manifold air temp.
You want your IC fan's on all the time when running. The goal is to be as cold as ambient temp. Your engine fan doesn't come on until 160-170deg F.Then I might have a problem, my fans do come on with the car. Let me go look closer at it and see if I can find anything wrong.
