  1. 2.9L whipple surging

Just wanted to chime in and say I've also had this problem from the get go. I have a big hill I have to climb to get home. I've noticed it the most at 1/4-1/2 throttle between 2-3krpms. Solution, Floor it. Looking forward to the update.

ARH Catback exhaust. Replaces resonators to tailpipes.
  3. My dyno numbers, Whippled.

I wasn't asking because of the dyno run the car runs hard on the street. You know that voice in the back of your head that says "MORE POWER!!!"? That's what I'm talking about.
  4. My dyno numbers, Whippled.

Do I need to get a different tune from you if I pulley down to the 3.625" or smaller? How much range is there in the tune if you can answer?
  5. My dyno numbers, Whippled.

I have the stock 3.75" pulley so 10-11psi.
  6. My dyno numbers, Whippled.

Mustang dyno reads 10-12% lower than other dynos. There were issues with run the I think as well. On a Dynojet it should be 650+rwhp

That makes sense, thank you! Now to go see what it does at 7500! :headbang::cheers:

I think he did 4th, I told him 1:1 was 5th. Can you data log with the flare tool? And on the AF it's at 11.5 for most of the run till 6, 6.5k or so, then it starts gradually going down to 10.0 at the end of the run from the dash AF.
  9. My dyno numbers, Whippled.

well damn, I've only taken it to like 7200! Do you have any thoughts on the drop off at the top end? Also is the AFR in the Dash accurate? I'm hitting 10.0 afr at the top end, is that normal?

I think Redline is 72-7300rpm with Wipples tune. There is without a doubt more up top, maybe 660rw? Either way it pulls like a freight train all the way to redline on the closed courses around here. I'm a satisfied customer  to Whipple!
  11. My dyno numbers, Whippled.

Yes, sorry forgot to add that.
  12. My dyno numbers, Whippled.

Well there it is, 573hp and 477tq. This was done on a mustang dyno. The first run was only to 6500 and the second one 7k. The dip at the end from the last run looks off, I think It got hot and pulled some power out. You can see the tq loss at the bottom for the second run, I'm not sure maybe...

Thank you for that, my install looks like that. Guess I got some wire tracing to do. Is there a more recent install manual then the one from lethals website?
  14. Whipple boost Temps

    Ordered it Nov 29th.
  15. Whipple boost Temps

Can Anyone Confirm this with recent installations? My fans are not turning on with the car.
  16. Whipple boost Temps

In the install manual I got off of Lethals site, Page 52 step 176. I do not see this wire in my fuse box. The 15amp fuse is still in the 44 position. Was this revised recently? I don't even know if there was a fuse tap, I had a shop install the kit.

Then I might have a problem, my fans do not come on with the car. Let me go look closer at it and see if I can find anything wrong.
  18. Whipple boost Temps

I have a quick question. At what temp does the fan's on the IC turn on? I just realized my IAT temps in the dash will rise if at a stop light or idle. Highest its been is 123F, it cools right back down when I get up to speed.
  19. Whipple tuned cars please step in.

I've had the kit about 3 weeks and 1 week of ice. I've had 0 starting issues hot or cold. I've had one instance where the car "stumbled" for a split second as I was taking off. I don't know if it was my bad clutch engagement and I just lugged the engine or if it was the supercharger . No...
