Just wondering if any of you have dyno sheets showing the gap between 93 octane and e85 on your Whipple setup?
I’m particularly interested to see the gains at the bottom end/mid range, not so much the peak power.
Also interested to see what pulley you may be running.
Cheers

Sorry Burkey, I don’t have any dyno sheets on hand but I’ll look. I will tell you the power is an incredible difference anywhere in the rpm range but I’m also running from a 91 octane. I’m running 3.5 commonly but I can easily run the 3.25 with E but I can’t keep the power down now anyways.

Thanks mate. That’s exactly what I want to hear. If you can dig up a sheet, that would be greatly appreciated.

The first was 93 with a can of Torco on 3.875 pulley. 2nd is pump E85 with 3.75 pulley. Car also has long tubes with no cats, and MBRP Street Exhaust. Only reving to 7400 RPMS.

Thanks for that Derrick.
Looks to me like you’re making your 93/Torco peak power around 1500rpm earlier when you run the ethanol.
Keep ‘em coming guys

Here is mine on e85 on 3.5 inch pulley. Dips on graph are from belt slip. Issue has since been resolved after going to the belt type and size Dustin Whipple recommended. View attachment 328182

I dont have a before pull on pump gas :( The belt that shipped with my Stage 2 kit was a Gates RPM 106 inch belt. Whipple put out a new chart that is just the standard gates or gates HD belts. NO MORE RPM belts. Here is the chart.

OH I do have a graph that shows before and after. Numbers on this are a little off. This graph is a Mustang dyno that is not calibrated. We have found this one to be low reading by 18-20 percent. Bottom line is 93 on the 3.625 pulley. Top line is 3.5 Pulley and E85. Every dyno reads way different but this was back to back runs about an hour apart after draining 93. You can see in this graph that the belt slipping was fixed. No more weird drop offs.

May I ask who tuned it? Just curious.
