Anyone running e85 on a Whipple Mustang? If so, are the gains worth the hassle?

Thanks!

what kind of gains did you see before and after?

I know the turbo crowd sees huge gains from it, but I haven't heard much from those with superchargers.

Thanks again.

It doesn't matter what the FI is E85 is always worth the Gain if you have access to it. Allows for more timing and is much more forgiving than pump gas.. Basically safer for the motor

A bit safer if you're pushing the envelope at the expense of significantly reduced gas mileage (if that sort of thing matters to you....perhaps not if you're trying to make 700hp). E85 contains roughly 30% less energy than E10 fuel and is only available in 2-3% of the gas stations in the country.

Best,

E85 is certainly different. Fuel economy is obviously terrible but when talking about 800rwhp who cares? I can make 712rwhp on E10 93 and 788rwhp on E85 (both SAE corrected).
