Hi All,

I've recently been hearing a howling/deep whining noise coming from my front driver wheel, see video attached. Does anybody know what could be causing this?

Thanks,

Fabian

Mine just started doing this last week. I believe its coming from both my front tires though. It started after I was driving on the highway and I swerved hard to avoid a deer. After that incident I noticed the noise only when I was moving at slow speeds and turning, like pulling in and out of a parking spot. Unfortunately the noise has gotten worse everyday. Sometimes its hard to hear, other times it is obnoxiously loud and I can feel all the eyes staring at me.

How many miles on the car? Sounds to me like a joint that should be lubricated is worn. Could be a ball joint, a tie rod link, or even the steering rack.

You'll probably need to get it up on a lift so that someone can stand near the moving items while the wheel is turned.
