Suspension noise

Hey guys, dropping my car off at the dealership tomorrow so they can look for a noise that I believe is coming from up front. At very low speeds when I tap the brake, I get a thud, and a feeling that somebody is striking the bottom of the car once with a hammer. I had something similar on my brand new 2017 V6 and I tightened the passenger strut top mount and it stopped. That trick hasn't worked on this noise.

Took both front wheels off this weekend and did a thorough visual inspection of everything, even applied upward pressure from below the rotors using a long 2x4 as a lever, and achieved upward motion of the suspension, but nothing strange.

Anybody that's had this care to share their experience?

Yes, I had brand new Koni yellows installed and had the thud in the right front especially when braking. Turned out to be a defective shock.

I had something similar to what you have and it was my front left forward control arm ball joint. I went over everything, retorqued everything. Found some information in one of these threads so I pulled the forward control arm and the ball joint was loose, replaced with steeda arms and fixed the problem
