Howdy boys and girls.

So i have 16 mustang GT PP2 car with upr subframe braces and bushing lockout kit. The braces have been on for 5k miles since last year. This year i put on the lockout kit and about a month after i installed them i started getting a noise that sounds like a spring centering itself in the spring pocket but also kind of a hollow sound when i hit a sharp bump. When i pull into my driveway there is about a 1 inch curb edge and it does it most every time. Now here is what i have tried so far. I put it on the hoist at work went over every bolt and double checked the torque i let it down take it off the lift and go for a drive all is well for about 3days to a week and then it starts doing it again. I have taken the sway bar off and it happens immediately. i have switched the shocks left to right will be good for any period of time i think its fixed and then iget a passenger in the car and it comes back and stays. Every time i lift it up so the suspension hangs it will make the noise stop for an undetermined period of time. Last nite i sprayed the control arm bushing with wd 40 got my kid in the car and we drove everywhere and it didnt make a nooise. Went out tonite by myself and its back. Only happens on sharp bumps , and i am here to tell ya its starting to get on my nerves. I have no access to tsb's and if i take it to a ford dealership they will blame the stuff i added. Hopefully someone has seen this before cause short of shooting the parts cannon im stumped at this point. I may update this if i think of anything else.

So, an update to this madness. I got the car to make the noise consistently while backing out of my driveway and coming back in. I sprayed WD40 on various pivot points in the suspension until i hit the right one. Turns out if i spray the inner bushing of the passenger side toe link the noise goes away completely. I have loosened and re tightened the bolt with no success but WD40 works every time. I lost my job due to covid so i no longer have a hoist to work on the car or money to fix it but eventually will replace them with adjustable toe arms. Hopefully this helps someone else, it literally started out of nowhere which is bizarre and no one i could find has had this problem.
