I've got Steeda Pro Action shocks and shock mounts on my Mustang (2015 GT). The right rear shock tower is now making a rattling noise. It basically sounds like I've got a bag full of lug nuts rolling around in the trunk, when I go over any bumps. I have some questions about trying to fix this.

After checking to see if any bolts are loose, is there anything I should do before removing the shock, and/or shock mounts?

Will I need the Steeda cutout socket? And is the 21mm the right one?

Any other advice before I jack up the car and start poking at it?

My guess is the perch/seat went bad, happened to me. Mine was when turning the steering wheel too, but give that a check first because it's a cheap fix (other than tearing it apart again).
