Hello everyone, I’m looking to get some smoked Side markers to match my smoked euros on my 2020 GT. And im looking on AM because I have some credit available to use. But I wanted to ask. Out of these 3, which one is best? Which one is the brightest? What do yall recommend (Diode Dynamic/Morimotos/Raxiom)?

I have the Diode Dynamics and love them. I'd be concerned quality of the LEDs in the Raxiom -- you get what you pay for -- given the low price. I don't have any experience with Morimoto.

I have the Raxiom clear ones and I have no complaints. Pretty bright at night and less conspicuous during the day.

I have the raxiom smoked. They’re all the same thing. They’re nice and bright and cheap. I ordered the diode and the raxiom and compared them and then sent the diodes back.

I like that the Morimotos have two LED rows instead of 1.
That’s what caught my attention too. But I also have diode dynamics interior lighting and fog lights and they’re good quality and their customer service is pretty good. Which is why I had them in mind. And then raxiom, well the price caught my attention on that lol

Had my DiodeDynamics smoked side markers on for almost 2 years and they are great. They blend perfectly with the side graphics and are quite bright.

After failed aftermarket LED markers I reinstalled OEM marker assemblies, and replaced the incandescents with LED's, and then applied smoke film (window film) over the lens. Once adhered I used a sharp craft knife to trim around the perimeter. To ensure no red showed, I set the assemblies face down and painted the perimeter/backside with flat black paint.

Actually I learned my lesson from this ordeal...don't discard OEM parts on something that may fail. (I had to purchase an inexpensive OEM replacement set off eBay.)

Here's a pic of the finished marker lights with smoke film. And yes, the red marker light is visible in darkness...and in sunlight (at a slightly lesser degree because of the film of course).

garbage. I had the diode Dyn since I have had a lot of their stuff in the past. Lasted about a year before one side was completely dead. Now have the Raxioms, have had them for a few years now and one of them is starting to fail. One LED does not light up all the time and then it does sometimes. While LED's are so amazing, I don't think these units are sealed enough for the conditions they are exposed to or something.

If I get to the point of replacing them a 3rd time, I might just go the route StanV mentioned.

I have the Diode smoked. One lost a few LEDs after a year and they replaced it quickly with no hassle. Both have been working perfectly since 2019.
