Side Marker lights

Can any of the current owners tell me if the amber plastic next to the HID lamp is just a reflector or an actual lamp? Thanks

I looked at one today specifically to figure this out on a lot. It is definitely a reflecter, bit since the dealership was closed I was unsure if there was a light associated with it. Down side is it's orange and in the headlight housing. Not easy to swap for a clear reflecter

No lamp, just a reflector.

You would need to actually open the headlamps to change the reflector, but I am sure you could simply cut a piece of smoked vinyl to go over it if you'd like!

Well hopefully the cops in California wont be sticklers and nail me for the cool white upgrade. But may be a reason to pull me over.. Guess we'll see
