I can't believe how insanely long this is taking to get here since it was "shipped".
Now that it is getting nice out this wait is killing me.

Yeah. I think it just sits in the train yard for 20 days.

That's ridiculous. I just want my car already! I hate not having a toy, considering this time last year I had 3 toys and now I have zero I am really frustrated. Haven't had a fun car since August 2020 when the midwest Derecho killed my Corvette (and garage).

My delivery ETA just slipped from 3/31 to frigging 4/23. Holy crap!

well, supposedly. According to the tracking, it was built on 3/6, and according to emails it was shipped on 3/10. As of Friday, 3/26 it was on rail somewhere in Montana, and the delivery estimate was 3/31.

Have you called Ford to find out the exact location?

Nooooo, don't say stuff like that. If that happens to me I'm gonna have to go buy something else. I gotta have this car or something else fun by the beginning/middle of May for a road trip I have booked.

I did call today. They wait time was great, they answered almost immediately which is extremely rare these days. However, it was not very helpful overall.

They spent quite a bit of time on unrelated questions, such as “what do I like about Mustang” or “what is my name and email” (which are difficult to spell, that's why I wholeheartedly hate those phone interactions.)

At the end, they could only confirm what I see on order tracking already: the new ETA is 4/23. They swore they do not know the rail car number, neither they know where the car got stuck and why. Phew.

I guess calling Marketing won't make the train move any faster. All I can do is wait.

Why cannot they just ship the car with USPS? Just kidding ofc but postal tracking is far more accurate than this stupid thing.

If they cannot tell you the railcar number hang up and call back. Then do it again until you get someone that knows the tools available at their disposal. The other people are inept. They CAN find the railcar info.

On a related note MY CAR WAS DELIVERED TODAY!!! WOO WOO! I 2 weeks early.

But, I still have to wait 2 weeks for Roush tune to be released. Stupid EPA.

Did they call you or did you get a ford email saying it was there?

Zach sent me a photo. Ford tracking site didn't say delivered until 6 hours later.
