I always assumed trucks. But I've seen people talking about rails? Car is in transit and I'm in NY

Will come via Rail then unloaded at the nearest railyard then by truck to your local dealership. I think they only ship on truck if you are really close to Flat Rock. At least that what I have read on here back in October/Nov.

Window sticker will say Rail or Convoy(semi). If rail the final leg of the trip will be from the nearest rail yard to your dealer via truck.

However, I think in my case they are beta testing the teleportation method. Since it hasn't left yet I am going with it hasn't worked.

Is the window sticker really accurate for that? Mine says Convoy, but I live less than 20 minutes away from the rail terminal for cars in Philly. Wouldn't make sense to put it on a truck all the way from Flat Rock unless there is a problem with rail.

Means you get it faster. Rail is slow.

I bought my car in Lansdale, PA and it shipped via rail to the yard. Then sent via tractor trailer to the dealership. My car was in transit a total of 4 days.

Window sticker says convoy. Estimated delivery is May 12. It's been in transit a few days. Why would it take that long to deliver by truck?

Came to post "Slowly". Got beat to the punch.

On trucks if you are close enough to the factory ( a few hours) otherwise rail.

Im on long island. My window sticker said CONVOY but it came by rail from Flat Rock to Delaware and then was trucked from there to Hempstead Ford on Long Island.

Ya, I don't know how accurate the window sticker is. Hoping it's NOT! My sticker say RAIL. My dealer says it will come from Flat Rock with some Fusions by semi.

Weathers turned nice. Getting impatient. :paddle: :D

Hello guys,

Todd15Fastback is correct. Unless the dealer is fairly close to the plant, it’ll travel by train. Once it arrives at the last rail yard, it’ll then be trucked to your dealer. This includes yours, Blaster. You’re all welcome to PM us with your VIN or dealer’s name and order number so we can track them.

@ Ford Service: How about the EU models? How long after production it will take to go on a ship and how long the travel by ship to Europa is expected? What is the destination harbor for cars going to Germany? Some EU cars that have already produced still show "Awaiting Shipment" in COTUS (including my VIN) for a while but don't move and the "x days to delivery" information has disappeared ...
