Yes installed correct. I read somewhere on here a whileAre they installed correctly lol? Seems weird for an OEM to do that, big deal breaker for sure.
I have the Ford performance struts. They work great, just remember to reroute the washer line around the hood mount on the passenger side.I have the Ford Performance struts. Easy install and work great except they pinch the wiper fluid line on passenger side when hood is closed.

You just needed to look in the right sub forum.Looking to see what brand hood struts everyone has purchased and how they have held up over the year(s). I have an 18 if it matters for these. I did a forum search and the only thing that popped up was a steeda rust issue.
Had to do a little grinding on mine to make them fit but really like how sturdy they areI used the red line as well but these drake sure look cool
