Looking to see what brand hood struts everyone has purchased and how they have held up over the year(s). I have an 18 if it matters for these. I did a forum search and the only thing that popped up was a steeda rust issue.

I am running the redline tuning struts. Only had them a few months on this vehicle so far. My 2011 had them as well and never had any issues with them. Held up really well.

I have the Ford Performance struts. Easy install and work great except they pinch the wiper fluid line on passenger side when hood is closed.

Are they installed correctly lol? Seems weird for an OEM to do that, big deal breaker for sure.

Yes installed correct. I read somewhere on here a while
back about it. It doesn’t pinch off the line but you can feel where it get squeezed a bit.

I have the Ford performance struts. They work great, just remember to reroute the washer line around the hood mount on the passenger side.

I’ll have to do that. How did you reroute it? Thanks for info

I've used Redline elites for years. Had them on my 03 Cobra, have them on my 14 Explorer Sport, and now on the 350.
Good product that lasts a long time.

Redlines on mine. Had them a year or so and still think of them as one of the best mods I've done.

Had to do a little grinding on mine to make them fit but really like how sturdy they are

Very nice. :inlove:That’s the look I like right there. I guess I’ll have a brand new pair of ford performance to sell now.
