This is what I am wondering myself. My car is never under 3500-4k RPM if I am about to WOT. I would also say, 2000RPM is dangerous load for a turbo car too if you are WOT. Great way to blow shit up.Who starts a roll race at 2000-2500 rpm? And even if you did, in an auto, you are going to pretty much instantly kick down into a lower gear and take off.
I get that the coyote isn't a stump puller in the lower rpms, but higher rpms are just a gear shift way - or a stab of the foot in an auto. And you certainly don't have to be 'flat to the floor' to get moving.
