As others have mentioned, PPF (Paint Protection Film) is going to give you the highest level of scratch resistance.
A ceramic coating is not going to resist scratches, other than making the paint easier to clean and reduce the risk of scratches caused during the wash process.
Considering this would be your first time applying a ceramic coating, have a look into Gyeon Can Coat. This a simple spray and wipe application, the product lasting up to 12 months.
