I have a 17 gt350R, do about 5-8 annual track days and maybe 1500 road miles. I run in the advanced group and am usually the top 1-3 fastest cars (ie I’m no pro but competent and aggressive). My local tracks are Grattan, M1, and Waterford hills in MI for most use.

Right now the car is stock and last year I’m chewing the hell out of the driver side outside cup 2s. Pretty much 4 track days and chords on the outside despite rotating side to side. I know about the Porsche spec tires and that’s on the list to try, but it’s clear I need More negative camber. Will mm suffice at -2ish they can offer, or should I pony up for vorslag plates? I presume the bolts won’t get me where i need to be with camber?

Photos are half way through 5th track day, and 2 events had rain for half of them.

Ok,

I was hoping you were the guy building the house next to me since we are of the same mindset. You'd be a great neighbor.

Here’s mine. Vorshlag will get you -2.5 -2.7°
More if you notch the hole or include strut bolts.

Lmao.
Well if you and I were neighbors that would be great.
You and I could talk and laugh at some of the people on this forum.

If you plan on moving up this way I will be building a 60x80 garage in the soon near future.

I'm looking for more space as well. I'm out of room.

I have the land. But my current garage is filled. So I need to build.
My garage(s) are full and no more land. So, buy more land (preferably with a garage on it) and more cars follow. :)

So what is the most mm plates will get, -2.2 is what i have read which is quite past the suggested -1.75 and supposed sweet spot -2 that most (including those posting here) have suggested.

I am going do diy this, although will need to find a way to compress the springs to get them on once the struts are off. Dealer said about $700 labor to do it, which seems pricey (and I have a Ferrari and Aston Martin as well and am used to dealer bs and forced diy).

Take your struts off and bring them to a shop that has a spring compression tool. Put it all back together and get an alignment. Not difficult work, just time consuming.
