Yours is sort of a sideways mounted position, but not that big. I mounted mine to the right of the center wire cover for the rear view mirror. The sticky pad is stuck to the black Ford logo, so all that is below the logo is the front face of the camera visible from outside.
Since it's on the right side, it's almost invisible when from the driver's seat. I honestly don't even notice it.
I ran the wire under the front edge of the head liner, down the right A-pillar, and under the glove box where it plugs into an auxiliary USB connector cord that came with my Android head unit.

Im wondering the same... for those of us that have the lane assist camera, the area near the ford oval is not available. I have searched other threads and can’t find a picture or someone that has mounted a dash cam with the lane assist. Before I purchase one I definitely want to see how it would look.

i just cut a hole in the black plastic cover behind the mirror. I plan to put the cam mount on the inside of the cover with the hinge part through the hole - that way the camera won’t hang too low. I’ll post up pics of it when I’m done, hopefully tomorrow.
