A intercooler is what cools the air coming from the turbocharger before it gets to the throttle body. A oil catch can well it catches most of the oil that would otherwise be going into your intake to be burned.

Simply put, the majority of EB owners are going to do simple mods that increase performance a bit and make the car unique to them. Down the road aftermarket intercoolers etc.. will come into play but for now the basic mods are as follows"
We offer a "torque tune" using the SCT XCAL4 tuning device. You will gain 50ftlbs of torque with this tune and roughly 30hp. The seat of the pants feel will be awesome and you will love it.
You can then address the exhaust issue if you like. Our OR pipe and resonator Y pipe eliminator make the car sound great without having to remove or replace the mufflers and if you decide to replace the mufflers it sounds even better.
An Airaid CAI is also a great modification. You will pick up even more power and tq and hold that power and torque longer then with just a tune. Plus it looks great and is of very high quality.
Lastly you could also give the car itself a nice gift this holiday season, a set of Redline Tuning Hood struts. Get rid of that ugly prop rod and in less then 15 minutes have a new set of high quality struts holding the hood up. (we have them on sale with free shipping)
Any of those above products will give you a great big smile and give you the added performance your after. If we can be of any help with anything please give us a call.

It's easy to get caught up in the excitement of your new purchase. Just keep in mind the old saying...
Buyer Beware
As someone new to the game, who is mindful to a budget, keep it simple and don't go overboard. There is a reason why the car isn't tuned too high out of the factory and why the warranty won't cover some of the modifications.

I hope you are not implying that this car is not tuned by the factory because it can not handle it. It seems like you are though.

I would go with a tuner first, then I think the exhaust and then the cold air box, I was lucky enough to do these 3 things at the same time, WHOLE lot of difference from stock. Ford makes good cars and this ecoboost motor was way under tuned, only they know the real reason why, I know without a doubt it can easily handle the new found horsepower and torque these mods give You, because most of the time You drive around normally and get on it hard very little of the time, if Your drag racing it on week-ends over time You might start wearing stuff out, but driving it to work and to WalMart won't cause any major problems !!
