Just wondering if you get it right after they install the springs or wait a week? Places I have called said they they do it right then after the install. Another place said it has to be a week after the install. Which is it or does it even matter ??

Springs are the eibach sportlines by the way if that matters.

wait atleast 1 week for them to fully settle down properly then get the alignment so that its exact.

I agree with the week, but do you think Ford waits a week before they align the car at the factory?

Ford has more than a little experience with how much a suspension will settle, and can be expected to set it up to anticipate any settling.

They also don't have particularly strict tolerances on the alignment.

I usually tell my customers around a week, and/or 50-100 miles or so.

And to touch on the OEM comment, the first thing I do to my cars is a good alignment. I see OE alignments all over the place.

I agree with you, but I do have to say, that my last 4 or 5 daily drivers I never has aligned, rated the tires every 5,000 (oil change) and never has tire wear issues.

I changed the spring on the Mustang on the way home from the dealer, so it had been aligned, and the Corvette has been done so many times I can't count them all...............
