I don't know how many actually blow up but they definitely get talked about breaking a lot and even YouTubers have problems with them. Hope it's talked about more than it actually happens and your car lives a nice long life.

I d love to make the switch when my M1 get s cancelled but I need more of a daily driver. I really started trying to order a gt but they where closed at the time and M1 was open so I went with it.

My neighbors grandson had one. He traded it just a month ago. The transmission got so hot it buckled the carpet and console plastic. They "fixed" it. Got it back same problem so he dumped it on the dealer. Never had a single engine problem though.
