I'm not sure why...probably to get you to buy what they want, but for what ever reason the new 2015 Mustang GT Premium W/PP can only have one wheel choice. 9"x19"F 9.5"x19"R in Gloss Black. For me that's short sighted and ridiculous! I plan the buy my new S550 in Ingot Silver. For me Silver and Black reminds me of Raiders Football Colors. Not what I want. I prefer a silver of polished aluminum finish.

I saw some really nice Ford Racing wheels that will fit over the new 15" Brembo set up. I also saw some AMR wheels on the American Muscle site.

Does any know it the AMR wheels will fit over the new 15" brembo brake set up?

How do you know that the FRPP wheels will fit?

The FRPP wheels that I saw were on "Ford Racing Parts". They were 9"x19"F and 10"x19"R and they were for the 2014 Mustang. The wheels were M-1007KIT-SA19910. They specifically stated that they would fit the M-2300-T Brembo Brake kit.

Now that I've given it more thought...I was just assuming that the FRPP wheels for the 2014 Mustang would naturally fit on the 2015. It may not be the case.

The offsets are different on the 2014 v 2015, so it's not certain that they will fit properly. We also aren't sure that the relative position of the brake calipers. They might fit, but they might not also.

By the way, there is a subforum dedicated to wheels which is located here.

What are the offsets on the '15 wheels?
This information was provided by one of our Ford friends without the actual measurements. I had previously posted about the fitment of S197 wheels on the new car, and that was what was shared.

The offset will indeed most likely be different compared to the previous generation. Many manufacturers do this to frustrate the aftermarket and to force people to buy new wheels instead of reusing existing ones. Same reason why Apple keeps changing their connectors.

Both the rear track and front geometry are different on the 2015 compared to the previous models, necessitating a revision to wheel offsets. It's not just an arbitrary decision to force people to buy new wheels. For all we know the older gen wheels could work, not ideal perhaps but good enough for a street car.

To know for sure we will just have to wait for the car to be released to the public.

What size tires for stock wheels

Well now that Ford has pretty much forced me to accept the new 2015 Mustang the way they want, (Build your Mustang is a bit disingenuous).

I'll be getting the GT Premium, 6MT, PP. which will have the 9"x 19" fronts and 9.5" rear's, which is great, except the Gloss Black finish.

I will be powder coating those as soon as I take delivery.

So those stock wheels will have the 255/40/19's F and the 275/40/19's R. Do any of you guy's know what MAX tire set up will better FILL UP the wheel well and give a larger foot print of rubber to the pavement for braking and traction.
