I love the look of my stock black PP wheels, but I cant help but feel that i need more rubber. Has anyone ever had their wheels widened before? I know some places do it, I just wasnt sure how ironed out the process is now. Anyone had any experiences?

I've never done it before, been hesitant about that since there are factors that can be a fine line to it, Ive always just changed the wheels to wider wheels and its benefited me. Lighter and wider so better rotation and unsprung weight deduction plus wider tires.

Ero, I was planning to send my wheels out for widening. Had them off the car and everything. I was quoted by WeldCraft Wheels, and to be honest the pricing was good. They're a good company and widening isn't too bad to do. However, I ended up putting the wheels back on my car because after I got them all ready and went to put them in a box, I realized just how heavy they are. Adding more material and weight just didn't make sense. Especially when I would then need new spacers to help with clearance... Easier (and not much more) to just buy a nice rotary forged wheel.

Weld craft is the only place I would trust. They are good at it but it's kinda expensive. About 300$ each as I recall. Plus shipping back and forth. And like said above, they'll be heavier. And no depth or concave.

Weldcraft is a very very good company when it comes to wheel widening no doubt about it. Just the heavier weight as stated is kind a kill for me.

Being a local to weld craft and having used them a few times before, I love there work. These guys do an awsome job for a good price. If you like your wheels I say do it. Most people won't notice the little bit of extra weight that gets added to it if all your looking for is apperance.

Lots of wheels with a similar look to the PP wheels. $300 each will get you new wheels, so you have two sets (winter set, race set maybe?) for the same investment.

Not wild about the contrsting strip but otherwise very close to the PP wheel design, and super cheap on closeout.

Need4Speed lists the Niche Circuit M110 at an attractive price that looks similar to the PP wheels as well. N4S, what are the s550 fitments (I can't really tell from the online cataloge)?
