I
You guys killed it on the widening projects. I’m putting my GTR wheel project on hold rather than jumping to the big spend on the widening. Best case, I was going to be $2,100 into it with the machining, widening, spacers, extended studs, etc.

When new sets of fully forged 20” wheels can be had for $2,600 at 21-22 lbs and perfect offsets, I’ll go that route if I jump to 20’s.
I like the look of my 20 x 9 OEM foundry wheels.
And after widening and chroming(paint) I will have something that nobody else will have hopefully.
Lol That is what I like...
Something that is different from the rest. And I like to do interesting stuff with my car. I will probably be in for about $1800 all finished. Because I didn't have to ship. And the guy that's doing it is doing it in his spare time.
I gave him 3 months since winter has set in here in Canada.

Just for something to do...
This is my winter setup.
Stock Premium 18 x 8 wheels
245 x 50 x 18 Nokian A3 Runflat All seasons. With 20MM spacers. A little bulge just right I think.

Got mine back from Weldcraft, looked great, no issues at all. Got them painted up and Discount tires mounted up my new tires also, they fit great on that wheel. Hardly took any weight. They were hesitant at first to do it, had never seen widened wheels before, but after us all talking about it, and them looking at the quality of the welds, they did it. At first they wanted proof of Weldcraft having a welding certification, but we got around that. They learned something today. They look great on the car, I also went with 20mm spacers in the front only. Sorry for the bad pix, it was dark in my garage.

I have the same wheels I want widened. What was the cost for two wheels and how wide did you go?

It cost me 190 to ship the two wheels to Weldcraft through the US Post office, they were the cheapest. I'm in the Pac NW. Then weldcraft charged me to widen the two wheels from 8.5 to 10.5 and ship them back to me, it was 612. I ended up putting on 20mm spacers in the rear about a month ago, which means I could have had the wheels widened out to 11 and used the spacers, but I dont know if the wheel at 11 inches will clear without 20 mm spacers. that is on you. But at 10.5 inches and a 305 tire, looks great, with no spacers, no rubbing or problems. Let us know how it works out for you. Weldcraft was great to work with. I will add, I spent a lot of time building my shipping boxes and packaging the hell out of the wheels, and they came back in normal boxes, not much protection, but the wheels were fine. I must have way overpacked them in their opinion for them to use smaller boxes. As you can see by this thread, I am not the first person to do this, I appreciate I all the help I got from fellow members on this thread and forum to get this done.

Finally after months of wheels sitting around got my Foundries mounted.
Widened to 10.5 inch on the back.
With 295/35/20 Michelin SS.
BMR Min drop springs. 20 MM spacers front and rear.
Front stock Foundry with 265/35/20. This is the look I was looking for in my Daily. 2017 GT Premium.
