I think the 20mm spacers will look just fine. I'll be installing mine next week most likely. I plan on ending up with 275's on all four corners when it's time for tires and from the pics I've looked at here 1'' spacers seem to be pushing the limits just a bit especially with wider tires. 20mm is about 1mm wider than 3/4''
I was thinking the same, I didn't like how far out the 1" spacers stuck out in the rear.

Totally agree, 20mm is where it's at for me.

If anyone happens to have their EB PP wheels off for installation could you please take a picture of how deep the pockets on the inside of the hub are? With 30mm spacers you will need at least 10mm depth in these pockets for the car's studs to clear.

How does the diameter of these wheel spaces match up with the diameter of the wheel hub? I don't want there to be a step between the spacer and the wheel hub.

I'm with the 20mm spacer guys ... think that would look the best as it does seem like the 1 inch spacers make the tire almost stick out beyond the fender lip a hair.

I should have mine up on my lift tomorrow. My wheels are the 19'' premium paint dark stainless and we will see.

I put the 20mm spacers on today. I definitely had to cut about 1/8'' off of each stud to clear the wheel pockets. I can post pics tomorrow when my son is here. I have no clue how to do that. With 255's on all 4 corners it looks great.

That sucks that the studs didn't clear the wheel pockets. I was hoping 20 mm spacers would have worked with no issues.

I can see where a lot of idiots would bolt them on and not know they don't clear. I bolted them on and it looked good, but I took a piece of paper and could slide it between the wheel and spacer so off they went and I made the cuts. The studs need to be about 1'' long, maybe 1''-1/16'' at most which is still fine if you ever wanted to remove the spacers and go back to the way it was.

Maybe that's why some guys get vibration when using spacers ... ?

The main problem I see if they are installed without cutting the studs a bit or removing some material from the pockets is the wheel may be bolted on and torqued to spec, but problems are likely to occur. For example, the hardened steel studs will distort the softer aluminum wheel in the pocket area and push some material off to the side. The result will be the lug nuts will become loose.

You could easily cut material on the wheel pockets with a domed de-burring tool on a drill and it wouldn't cause a problem with wheel balance because it's so close to the center of the wheel. I just don't want anything wider than 20mm in a spacer. I'll get some pics up tomorrow...when my son is here changing his oil.

Yeah I test fitted mine on the PP wheels and the stock studs do stick out too far. Going to have to grind them down a bit to get the spacers to work. Not a big deal to me as if I ever wanted to remove the spacers there will still be more than enough thread left over for the lugs.

That's exactly right. I used a cut off wheel on a 5'' grinder. First I ran the supplied nuts onto each stud. I took some tape and wrapped it around the stud to border the cutting area and zipped them off one at a time. After that I just filed the cut edge lightly and removed the nuts.

The nuts being installed first aids in removing any small burrs that could be present where the cut was made. I would have run a die on there first, but my metric tap and die set only goes to 12mm, but if you make clean cuts there's no worry in using the nuts.

Sorry I didn't get pics up yesterday. My son came over later than I thought, game was on and we were drinking beer.

I, like many of you, decided on the 1" spacers from AM. However, being particularly impatient, I didnt really want to wait the 3-4 weeks for them to be in stock so I did more digging and went directly to Coyote (the supplier for AMs spacers). They have them currently in stock and for $26 a piece.

Wish I would have seen this... you're exactly right. Same part number as the ones I bought from AM at $170 for all 4

Save your money and get this instead
