For those of you that have taken out your wheel liner and broken the plastic rivet, I would avoid going down to the dealership and getting overcharged. Measure the diameter of the hole as most of them are around a 1/4 inch. Drill them out with a 8mm bit and use an easily obtainable 8mm rivet from ebay and pat yourself on the back for a DIY job well done.

You don’t have to pay dealer price, a lot of aftermarket companies such as Auveco and Clips and Fasteners make the exact replica of the factory ones for dirt cheap
Don’t like to modify things if I don’t have to…
Can you imagine the next owner ordering some from either factory or aftermarket and finding out they don’t fit…….

Why would I go through all that? Simply measure the factory ones and do a quick search. You can get exactly the same thing in bulk very cheaply from eBay or Amazon. Easy peasy...

not exactly...a majority are 1/4 inch and the only ones I found aftermarket have a screw type pop rivet and those are not only very cheap but don't work. Trying to take them off again if damaged proves to be very challenging. I would greatly appreciate if you would post a link to an oem rivet that is 1/4 inch in size. Thanks

There are different rivets depending on the position in the wheel liner. I ordered a package of each type that appears on the Ford diagram (I think there were 3 listed) and 2 of them don't belong. I don't even think Ford knows what they used. The large one they used at the front, that has the push-release in the center has fallen out of both my cars, and when I put a new one in, it is loose. I think I'm going to convert all the holes to using what ORRadtech listed.

I bought a large container with various sizes on Amazon and it had some that worked for me when I did my SC install.
