What pressure? Id start at 17psi.
Yeahhh I found out last night when I was airing them out at the track the had them at 40 psi!!!! No wonder I had no traction lol even from a 70 roll to 90 I was all over the place. Brought them down to 27 ran a 12.41 at 116. Then brought them down to 24 and ran a 12.10. So they hook. My mph went down though. I usually run 118-119 mph and was running 116-117 mph. I know my setup should put me into the 11s easily but obviously I'm doing stuff wrong lol so bring it down to 17?

What mods do you have done & what was the da? Yes run them at 17 psi. Bring it up to 1500-2000 rpm at the light. I have the same tires on my car & they work great. Have had my wheels/tires on a buddy's forced induction 18 & they went in the high 9's on stock suspension so even though they are short they still work with a good burnout.

These may be my next tires on some 17x9 wheels. What are your mods and what 60' were you able to cut? I am currently completely stock with no plans for boost.

@Josh11742, what was your best 60'? Any spin on 1-2 shift?

It's a 2019 mustang gt 10 speed with a E85r lund tune. That's it. Da was kind of crap. It was 3000 for most of the day. At night it went down too 2800. Yeah I need to launch at a higher rpm. I should be in the 11s just need to work on some things.

My best 60ft was a 1.8 with a launch and a 2.0 without. I can definitely get a 1.7. At first yeah I spun but that probably had alot to do with not doing a good burnout on brand new tires and having the psi at 27. Once I dropped them to 23 I hooked easier with a tiny bit off spin. I'm going to go down to 17 psi next time to hopefully hit a 1.7 60ft.

I as well go to the tracks here in ohio. Looking at either a 305 ss or street r tire for a 17 inch race star. Would the extra money be worth the r over the ss? I am in same boat and don't want to be screwed in rain. Best I did last year was a 1.9 60ft on a crappy g2 20 inch tire 6r80 3.15 car e/t 12.5
