I think there might be a deeper issue. Even with full weight and doing everything right I should be at 11.7 at least.
Not sure what I'm doing wrong. I usually only press the traction off for like 2 seconds. That could be a issue and I race in sport. I know eight reduction can really help...
I have a 2019 mustang gt A10 base model with 3.55 gears. Only things done to the car are a x-pipe and a E85R tune by lund. Went to the strip 3 times so far first time was on stock tires so it's a bit irrelevant. The second and third time was with MT street ss 275 40 17s in the rears. I have only...
It's a 2019 mustang gt 10 speed with a E85r lund tune. That's it. Da was kind of crap. It was 3000 for most of the day. At night it went down too 2800. Yeah I need to launch at a higher rpm. I should be in the 11s just need to work on some things.
Yeahhh I found out last night when I was airing them out at the track the had them at 40 psi!!!! No wonder I had no traction lol even from a 70 roll to 90 I was all over the place. Brought them down to 27 ran a 12.41 at 116. Then brought them down to 24 and ran a 12.10. So they hook. My mph went...
I agree, it's the only pair they had at my local shop though. I was impatient haha. I'm going to the strip tonight so hopefully they will be a big difference over my 235 all seasons lol
That was my first choice but I ended up getting 275/40/17s et street ss. I drive to the strip so I wanted it to be more drivable just in case I get caught in rain. I live in ohio so a 0% chance could easily be 100% 5 minutes later haha.
Wish I would've saw this before I purchased jms wheels 17x10. I saw some on here running those wheels just wasn't sure if i need extra stuff done for fitment.
I'm pretty new to the whole wheel and tire setup for drag racing. I'm looking to buy MT et streets Rs 275-40-17 for my rear. I found a wheel that is 17x9. It's the bullit wheel from American muscle that I've seen a few on here use. Before I ask my questions I'll say I'm looking for more of a...
