I guess it’s a little goofy to be naming cars in your 70’s, but who cares? It’s kinda fun. So my ‘23 GBM M1 is named RIP after one of the baddest-azz TV characters out there. His wife, my Rapid Red ‘20 convertible with BAP is both beautiful and bad to the bone as well so there was no choice but to name her Beth. Both cars are plated accordingly.

I‘m happy with it.

Mamba. I remember the Green Mamba jet car on the ABC Wide World of Sports when i was a little shaver. Plus the snake reference seems fitting for a car with many Shelby components.

Why, it's the Hurricane, of course! Just like the 2015 GT before it. Even got the license plate to match. And although I am a fan of the Carolina Hurricanes hockey team, I went to the University of Miami, so that's the real reason for the plate. Plus, if you want to get really technical, a Category 5 hurricane is the strongest/most damaging, so that part works well with the 5-liter engine.

I get to RIDE in my car tomorrow. as it gets moved to its new shelter for the next 3-6 months. a heated and cooled garage, better than my carport with only a car cover.
